Hi there,
This is my first time posting and am hoping to get some suggestions/recommendations from those of you who are keen on accessories.
I'm an event planner looking for a special gift for each individual attending our annual Presidential High Tea.
Despite it being an event steeped in history I'd like to bring a modern twist to it. I'm looking for something somewhat sophisticated (nothing too whimsical- this is a corporate crowd), $5/person or under, not gender specific, can fill a bulk order of about 100-120, with the possibility of it being engraved or having a personalize sticker/label on it.
If anyone knows of any special stores or websites that do orders online, I would love to have their name/contact info. Or of course if you have any fun or special gift idea's that you've created or received yourself that would fit with a High Tea theme, I'd appreciate you sharing any ideas you may have.
Thanks for your recommendations.
Hey there! and welcome!
I've had to work at a few of these type of events!
Most people at the events would comment on the freebie that they would receive at these events. Most of these people seemed not to like the generic boring stationery and found other such similar things just as lack-luster.
However, at one event we had small cardboard boxes printed with the university logo and then filled them with handmade candies and sweets (it was around v-day) These were good because they were small, people could give them away if it didn't suit their tastes, and they were different. Most people seemed to like this gift more than the items that they had received at previous events. The best part was any leftovers we got to eat and we didn't have to store boxes of leftover pens, paper, stuffed bears etc.
you're probably going to have scones/muffins/finger food at the event but you could always put the same sort of baked goods into the boxes with a few tea bags or samples of loose tea even? and add a card that has brewing instructions and perhaps a personalized message.
I'm sure that there's even a company out there that will print your organization's logo on tea bags if you're so inclined. or maybe you could get tin's printed and fill them with sugar crystals for people to use in their tea.

You can never get a cup of tea large enough or a book long enough to suit me. ~C.S. Lewis
