Tea pots and cups to go?!!?!?

by Kenneh » Jun 13th, '09, 21:35

Hi! Recently I had a picnic recently and realized that I needed a teapot that would be easy to transport... I brought my little bodum water kettle (which I love and recommend.) and a few bulky glass mugs. I was wondering what would be the best thing for tea on the go? I hate plastic and paper cups because of the horrible unnatural taste, stainless steel tastes funky as well.. A cast iron tea pot may be better because it won't break like glass would.. please help me out!

have you tried the ingenuiTEA or something similar? It is plastic but I don't taste any funky flavors from it (pretty sure its a food grade plastic which doesn't leech). They're pretty sturdy too, I've dropped mine several times and there's not even a scratch or crack.

(you could pick up an ingenuiTea by itself but for the same price you can get a sampler with it)

And welcome to teaChat

That one holds 16 oz (2 cups) but that's slap full so around 1.5 cups comfortably. They also have a 32 oz version, targeted for ice tea, for 5 bucks more.
